Privacy
This document is a draft written for the product. It waits for legal review before launch.
What we collect
From shoppers: mobile number, an optional name, the addresses you save, your bookings, and coarse search areas (a neighbourhood-sized area, never an exact location) when you search. From shops: business and store details, contact person and mobile number, the stock and sales data you add, and the payout and identity details needed to verify the business (bank or UPI details, PAN, GSTIN), which are stored encrypted and shown masked. If a shop uses voice to update stock, the recording is sent to speech-to-text and AI services to turn it into a draft the shop confirms. The anti-bot check on our forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) reads signals from your browser and device.
Why we collect it
To run TodayZ: to show shops near you, to handle bookings, to give support and to keep the service safe. We ask for your consent where the law needs it.
Who sees it
A shop sees the name and a masked mobile number of a shopper who books with it, and the full number only while that order is out for delivery. Services that host TodayZ, send messages, check forms for bots, and turn speech into text handle data on our behalf. Demand insights show shops grouped, anonymous search counts, never a shopper's name or number.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct your data, and you can withdraw your consent, by writing to the grievance officer below. Shoppers can delete their account themselves in the app, once no order is still in progress. Deleting it ends any unused credits, and order and credit records are kept in anonymised form. Shops can ask support to delete their business.
Complaints
If the grievance officer does not resolve your complaint, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Grievance officer
The grievance officer's name and email will be added here before launch.
